About Us

Caldwell Sash Company, in business since 1975, is a manufacturer of custom wood windows
and custom woodworking. Originally founded by Mr. Joe Caldwell, the company was
purchased by Fred Aemmer, Jr. in 1990. Fred has 33 years experience in construction,
including residential and commercial construction as well as architectural millwork. He has
taught construction skills at a non-profit organization where he worked with young adults 18 -
24 years of age. However, his passion has always been custom woodworking and millwork
with over 25 years experience in providing customized products, built to architectural
specifications.

Specializing in the recreation of windows, molding and other woodwork to match originals for
older homes and office buildings, our company is sought by Landmark Commissions and
Historical Societies as well as individuals hoping to restore their home back to its original
condition. Caldwell Sash Company has provided many local historical sites with windows
sashes and/or molding to match period construction.
